I may have given Super Bomberman R a mostly positive review, but there’s no denying that a heavy price stands in the way. Those that don’t already own a Nintendo Switch would have to spend $300 to get one. Even with that out of the way, Super Bomberman R costs $50. That’s a high price for a series whose past installments were digital-only $5-$10 titles. Fortunately for people on the fence, Splody is here to fill the void as a cheaper alternative.
Story
Unlike Super Bomberman R, Splody doesn’t have a story campaign mode. This game is created solely for multiplayer battles.

If you’re an importer, then you’ve probably already played Puyo Puyo Tetris in one form or another. The game was initially released only in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Playstation 3, and Vita three years ago. Versions for the PS4 and Xbox One followed suit that December. The game will finally be arriving to North American and PAL regions this April for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, but Japan has had the game available on the latter since launch day.
